A multilingual cd rom has been produced by ESMAP which features the following:

• A video on the Health Care Interpreter Service and why we use professional interpreters

• PDF files for printing out multilingual information for clients

• Audio files for playing to clients and for the production of cassette tapes for clients who need them if they are not literate in their own language or are visually impaired

The topics covered include what range of HACC services are available, rights and responsibilities of consumers, what advocacy is, a notification of who is acting as an advocate form, complaints (including a sample complaint form),CIARR, MDS and other essential information. The cd rom retails for $9.95 ($4.00 postage and handling) and is available now.
